What kind of property can I let as a holiday rental?

Villas apartments and houses are the properties that most travelers are looking for. There is also a percentage of holidaymakers that rent single rooms, but this is always a bit more complicated. In every case, all property types should be fully furnished and be in a good state, functional and comfortable in order to have the best probability to attract renters.

If I list my place now when will I start making money?

Normally a property is fully listed and ready to let, within 15 days of receiving all relevant promotional material. In many cases properties get bookings within the first month from their listing.

What are the minimum specifications for Rhodes Holiday Villas to manage my place?

Rhodes Holiday Villas currently manages villas, apartments and houses located in Rhodes and the Dodecanese Islands. Necessary amenities for the rentals we manage: furnished / air-conditioning / hot water / kitchen-kitchenette / fridge / basic kitchen items (i.e. cookware, glasses, dishes, cutlery) / Wi-Fi / heating / TV / washing machine. Desired: fast Wi-Fi / disabled access / proximity to the beach / satellite TV / children amenities.

How much tax will I pay for renting my place?

Tax is calculated according to what the property makes and the legal/tax format of the property. We also provide information and advice according to the current legislation.

How much can I make from my apartment/house/villa?

Depending on the property and its promotion, a villa/apartment/house may return from €5.000 to more than €30.000*.
(*The above refers to a summer holiday rental with an average cost of €200 per night and its return for 90 nights per year).

I already have listings of my property online. Who will manage my listings?

Even if you have listed your property in the past we take over all online sales. After evaluation of each existing listing it is decided whether to keep an existing listing or to add the property in our own accounts. Our own accounts have excellent reviews and the best possible rankings.

How will I get paid?

This varies depending on the bookings origin. In most cases payments are made within two working days from the guest’s arrival. However, there are possibilities for deposits upon confirmation of the booking. In every case, we guarantee all payments according to the agreed price of every reservation.

Can I rent out my property for specific periods or it must be all year round?

The period you rent your property is entirely up to you! Whether you want to rent out your property just for the summer or all year round is something that we will decide based on your own needs and preferences.
